Photographer registration
By making it really easy for Ring visitors to find photos of themselves, we believe that all photographers will significantly increase their sales. Better still, the site handles the sales automatically, so there is no further work for you once your photos are uploaded.
When you upload photos, the system will automatically generate thumbnails and watermarked low-res versions. When someone buys a photo, they are automatically emailed the original hi-res file and your account is credited. Once a month, the balance will be transferred to your bank account.
Buyers pay 10 euro per photo, and we split the revenue 50/50, so you get 5 euro per photo.
When you are registered, we will give you an FTP account. You simply upload the original hi-res non-watermarked JPG files.
The only work we ask you to do is to use keyword-editing software to put the registration number of each car or bike into the keywords field of the photo. Only the registration number should be included, and all other fields must be blank.
If you do not want to add the registration numbers yourself, we can do it for you, and you then get a 40% share instead of 50%. Either way, you either need to make sure that the registration number is visible in each photo, or take more than one photo of the vehicle so that the registration number is visible in at least one of the sequence.
There is no charge for registration, uploading or storage.
